Coach Eddie Davis is entering his first full year as head baseball coach for Hillsdale. Coach Davis lead his team to the Regional Championship title and finished runner-up at the 2007 NCCAA National Championship. In addition to his accomplishments, he recieved "National Coach of the Year," for the NCCAA. He has been married to his wife, Krystle, for 24 years. They have three children, Brianna, age 23; Cody, age 19; and Chase, age 16. Coach Davis attended the University of Tulsa and East Central University.
After suffering a massive heart attack three years ago, he felt extremely blessed for the opportunity to continue to live his life; however, he struggled with God's purpose for him. God spares those that have not completed their earthly mission, but clear vision of that purpose had not presented itself. He believes that God brought him to Hillsdale to make an impact in young people's lives. Upon taking the job with Hillsdale, his doctors ran tests to monitor the damage left behind by the attack. The damage isn't apparent in any of the tests. He is a walking testimony of God's ability to not only intervene but to heal!
