The undergraduate major in Biblical Studies prepares students for roles in ministry, mission work, faith-based organizations or teaching. Knowledge of the Bible in its original languages, as well as exegetical skills, are developed so that the message of God’s Word can be effectively communicated to others.
The Business Administration major infuses business disciplines with marketable skills of interpersonal communication, writing, and critical analysis to help graduates serve in companies and organizations, and their own ventures. The Business Administration minor contains core business elements, including legal concerns, economic principles, statistical outcomes, management strategies and marketing plans.
An undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice prepares graduates for dozens of careers in the criminal justice field. In addition to exploring crime causation, the judicial system and more, students will learn to apply the Golden Rule in each situation. The high-level program is led by experts in the field.
An undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies is optimal for students who seek to lay a foundation of academic understanding that is well-rounded and conducive to further graduate study and general career spheres. Students may choose to focus upon concentrations in humanities, math, science or business.
A BBA in International Business readies learners for business relations and transactions in a global setting. Courses in management, marketing, accounting, finance and more are paired with a study of international cultural exchange. A study abroad program serves as a programmatic capstone.
The BBA in Management degree is designed to prepare students for careers in industries such as energy, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, education and finance. Emphasis is placed upon management theory and practice, helping to form critical-thinking and ethical decision-making skills.
The BBA in Marketing undergraduate degree helps future professionals to be well-versed in the planning, implementation and analysis of marketing strategies across industries. Coursework encompasses the human, financial, technological and administrative areas necessary for effective marketing approaches.
The Psychology major teaches interpersonal and analytical skills that are invaluable for psychology careers. Students are trained in individual, social and cultural psychology. Coursework prepares students for further, specialized graduate study. Students can focus on Christian Counseling or Marriage and Family tracks.
The Psychology Christian Counseling track integrates faith with the practice of counseling, offering higher wisdom in understanding life, people, and the world around them because of its biblical focus. It also provides a strong foundation in the scientific and applied traditions of psychology, as well as contemporary issues in Christian counseling.
The Psychology Marriage and Family studies track covers family dynamics, systems theory, and counseling strategies used by marriage psychology and family psychology researchers and therapists. It integrates faith with the practice of counseling to provides a launching pad for further graduate study in marriage and family therapy.
The Accelerated MAP offers the same critical examination of the field of psychology as the standard undergraduate track, with methodology and experience for many different career fields, but also provides the opportunity to begin working toward a Masters of Arts in Psychology in a five-year period.
The Theological Studies undergraduate degree encompasses the important doctrinal tenets of the Christian faith. Core courses cover Old and New Testament theology, the history of Christianity and methods for studying Scripture. The degree is especially appropriate for one who is called preach or teach.
